Artmania Christmas Special - Mistletoe - FINALE 💥

 

This will probably be my last Artmania Christmas Special post in a long time. 

If you read through all of it, fantastic. 

This will be a future project that will be a hit.

The last thing I'm planning to make with the special is a short film sequence. 

Similar to 12 Days Of Christmas, usually that song is about 3 minutes long. This is a little shorter. 

I called it Mistletoe. And that's all it's about. 

We got to have model sheets obviously. 

Notice the difference about these 2 pictures. It's got some of the same character shaping. 

But that's what's important.  When it comes to professional animating, you don't start drawing characters, sometimes you can do it with freewill, but it you want to keep it lively and still, this will provide you and help you. 

It looks like alot of hard work, and it may seem like it is, but promise me it's easy once you get the hang on drawing more simpler shapes like a sphere or cube in one of your drawings. It's certainly great for artists who love the details the most.

THE CHARACTERS

This is Everest Wolf. He's a picky wild canine in a love for eating small things. 

But when he does go on a eating spree, he gets devious and feels hyped inside of his warm heart.   

His expressions have to be powerful and feel alive when making devious and creepy expressions.

Look at 3 characters with this style of expression.

Next is Nolga. I designed this cat all the way back in October and he started off as a normal cat I practiced with the Preston Blair models. 

He's your talkative sidekick that is a people pleaser type. 

I included storyboards for what the actual short is going to be just like.

I also have to mention one more character.

Poolio!

He sort of a mix between Droopy and Jiminy Cricket.

This is going to be a classic that everyone will find joyful and playful. 

ARTMANIA THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS will definitely be coming in the winter season when it gets released in the future. 

The special will be over an hour long filled with timeless musical sequences, comedic value, a talking tree and a wolf hungry over a mistletoe.

I swear this will be up there to other classic christmas specials that aired on TV. I'm planning to make this air when my cartoon is really vibing with people and I would like to hire animators and definitely musicians to make this special work.
