The Big Haul II

Since yesterday was my birthday, I wanted to buy stuff at the Flea Market since I haven't been there in 2 months. Enjoy.

I admire the Saturday Evening Posts magazines so this was a great purchase.

I wanted to buy this because it features Glenn Miller in it. 🙂

This was cool because you can actually explore some old theatrical posters that you may or have not seen before. Most of the films would have a more gigantic width,  but these are interesting.

This is what I got at Barnes & Noble. Lots and lots of books except for one DVD.

I wanted a Clifford plush for so long. Here it is.

Lastly, I went to a baseball game. The Firefighters vs Savannah Bananas, I got a unique book with an incredible message. Love this.

Another Saturday Shopping Trip 🛍

Last November I went to a toy exhibition, I went there again and got some new stuff.

Here's what I bought today.

I ALWAYS wanted to watch Huckleberry Hound and I finally got myself a DVD. Only 6 episodes but ey I'm all for it.

Garfield in golf-wear.

Here's Eeyore, the most relatable and likeable character in Disney history. Here's him close to my Winnie and Christopher Robin frame for your pleasure.

Got more porcelain dolls, like I said previously these are adorable and I'm extremely interested in these things.

Took a picture of Pinocchio, who is now clearly looking like a real boy with Jiminy Cricket.

Newly added to the toy club is 2 Donald Ducks and Dodger, his toy design is really good.

I love Foghorn Leghorn so had to buy this, he's holding onto Henery Hawk which is great.

I already have an Aladdin toy, but he only has a lamp, here THIS aladdin has a sword and more stylish arabian clothing.

Some more fun toys. That Bambi owl is the best.

Here's John Smith doing a breakdance.

Goofy has got himself a lady to hang out with, apparently it's Anita from One Hundred and One Dalmatians. She was falling all over the place, and didnt know where she could stand so she had to be placed close to someone.

I bought a full bag of tiny figurines of random human beings. This stuff really interests me.

This was also in the bag.

Now for the books!

I was so glad I finally bought these, more to experience and explore from Goofy Donald and Mickey. These are some of the better books made in Disney's name.

I'm going to make a full post on Richard Scarry's artwork of his bunny in the future.

And finally, I got myself something Betty Boop related.

I'm a fan of her cartoons so this was a great find.

The Big Haul

Last week was full of surprises, rehearsal practice, partaking an awards ceremony, and graduation, so it was alot, but that didn't stop me by buying a ton of interesting goodies bought at The Goodwill and flea market shopping.

At the Goodwill Store I always enter through the best sections, the books and sculpt figures. So what did I get?

Books from my childhood.

You don't know what's about to be in this book.

Loved Laura Numeroff books as a kid, they were appealing and cute!

These aren't from my childhood but I still thought were interesting.

Now for the sculpt figures.

I always liked these vintage globes. This one I thought was cool, I like the roses and the green grass textures.

You all assume my love for Gene Kelly lately so I got myself a poster!

The final item I got from Goodwill.

Here's a more clear look at her hat.

I can thank my uncle for giving me this outstanding Tex Avery book, when you open the pages it feels like your seeing the original concept drawings in person, they're so highly detailed and polished!

And also got my first cel painting! Apparently this is from a show called The Wacky World Of Tex Avery, never was really interested in it, but I do like some of the character designs, this is still really interesting and I'll keep it in a special place.

Got a ball cap that features my all-time favorite Disney character, José Carioca most notable in movies like Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros.

Now onto the Flea Market stuff.

Porcelain Dolls except one that's just a normal doll, I'm obsessed with these cuties! Most of these are from Madame Alexander.

I've been quite enjoying Astaire and Roger dance, so I got one DVD, I haven't got the chance to watch alot of the movies I bought because I have been extremely caught up by other hobbies and I am taking a break with watching feature films after watching all 63 Disney movies, I'll definitely be able to watch more movies this week and also got a book that looks cool.

I liked this girl doll's dress and there was one section I definitely needed to buy something and I bought a puppy.

Lastly I bought some posters, I had to get On The Town, my favorite movie, alongside a really well-drawn and beautiful Peter and The Wolf, and an ultra rare frame of Daisy Duck.

Hopefully you liked what I bought. I had fun exploring and experiencing new stuff, and I desevered it from being stuck in school for more than a decade, now just thinking about it, that's insane.

Friday Out On The Farm

Today was an interesting day, I went out and went to a farm, shopping and got pumpkins. I was drawing concepts of an actual mascot to the ...
