Artmania Christmas Special - 12 Days Of Christmas Segment

You guessed it if you seen the latest post.

The Artmania Christmas Special is going to have a mini song.

You guessed it. I'm doing a sequence with 12 Days Of Christmas.

You know those segments where they have a little narrative on a short story.

I get the feeling with that with something like Las Posadas in The Three Caballeros.

I love the shading and watercolor aesthetic of these. Mostly the movie is 2D and not lively and certainly don't look textured, but when they do mix it up it's kinda wholesome.

It certainly makes up for appeal and advertising.

I tried doing it myself and hey I'm getting good at it already!

This is one of the five golden rings. ✨️

(Won't be in the official product)

Did a sketch of a pear referencing the partridge in a pear tree bit.

Three French Hens

And lastly for now is the 9 ladies dancing. I was proud how this turned out.

I was going on an aesthetic spree with this picture.

Here's how the actual colors will look like. I chose a warmer feel and made a TV ratio with it.

Makes it feel like your actually watching it.

What if it was made in the early days of TV? 1950s style

1980s-90s

I also made this dog, I'll have to talk about him in a future post.

Now onto the lyrics! 🎶

This is my first draft, so it won't be the final product even though most of it might be.

Tomorrow I will talk about few songs that will make it into the special. I already talked about Dredd's 2 songs and the 12 Days Of Christmas song so I'm planning on making it a musical too.

I have a guilty pleasure with musicals, I think they're really good and energetic. Theres alot of fantastic films included in that genre like Singin In The Rain, Wizard Of Oz, Anchors Aweigh and many more.

This is still on-going so stay tuned on what's next in the upcoming things happening in this special.
