Preston Blair is a cartoonist that is kinda important because he's well known for making some iconic and well designed characters.
This is one of my favorites. I've been sketching the dog design and more or so the wolf design.
When I first seen Preston Blair's animation I didn't even realize that this is how classic animation back then worked. I liked it the more I looked into it and felt like watching more classic animation studios than just Warner Bros. I fell for Disney, Fleischer Studios and MGM Cartoons.
A few days later I got the hang of doing this myself and it was fun. Of course back then I loved the zany expression of the cartoon Wolf in Northwest Hounded Police.
Whenever I finished my work early in classes, I would sometimes be able to draw and study forms of animated characters.
When I was little, I always thought drawing animals like deer, giraffes, and horses were the hardest thing ever. It helped when I watched cartoons especially the classic ones.
I loved drawing the Meathead Dog in the Screwy Squirrel cartoons. He the funniest character in the Tex Avery Cartoons.
This is probably the most important one in the entire book.
This just tells you that drawing is my favorite hobbies. Drawing is the meaning of animation.
