Baby Bottleneck Dog

I was thinking about this amazing looking dog yesterday while I was shopping.

Seriously, this character is too expressive.

This bit with him using his strong hand to open the door is badass. Love the detail on the door cracks.

Imagine working with animators like Bob Clampett, Tex Avery, Art Davis and Robert McKimson, and having your freedom to make rubbery, simple animation, lip sync the funny jokes, and make timeless characters back then. If I had this job, it would be the best thing in my life. But somehow I'm starting to animate on my own, and it's been really fantastic.

Check out my Bud Light animations if you haven't.

When it comes to expressive animation, you'll have to know about stretching your characters like this. This dog probably exercises alot.

This is the cutest animated frame I ever seen.

EXPLOSION!

The Looney Tunes explosions are always important to look at and observe if you want to be a top-notch animator.

Baby Bottleneck is a chaotic cartoon, filled with zany animation and fantastic acting. I wouldn't say it's a perfect one in my opinion. It's not really my taste, but just for the sake of a few moments in this cartoon, I love it. This cartoon actually helped me watched more Looney Tunes cartoons like this, and it changed my drawings.

Such as is, the fact this was made in the 40s.

Back then I didn't knew too much. I was always sucked in the present moments of things. Sure I did watch some movies that came out before I was born, but I didn't knew what the early 20th century actually was.

Me thinking people hanged out wearing stuff like this -

And even if I watched these when I was little, I wouldn't know what I would be looking at.

I wouldn't get the jokes, the audio would be a little too crummy since I grew up with stuff being loud and vibrant, and the quality for these would creep me out.

Thankfully, at age 13, I started to love the classic cartoons and classic music.

Mostly back in the 30s to 40s stuff was like this -

Heck, nowadays I would see this decade becoming the most normal decade ever, except for those chaotic events like World War II.

Cartoons were funny, they broke the 4th wall, it had real voice acting. Music back in the 40s was the best, the artists and musicians could not be beaten.

I mean come on, really?
People loving the 60s songs more than the 40s?

I prefer Glenn Miller's music anyday over something like The Beatles.

Before I go,

Have this beautiful picture taken in 1945.
