Book Revue (1946)

This is Book Revue, one of the most masterful, wacky, and creative piece of high spirited energy you'll ever see in animation.

Backgrounds are also fantastic in this cartoon. But that's just the start. The animation begins and it's chaotic, and fun.

These are some good frames.

The book characters have some designs that feel like my drawings like with Mother Goose, I love her design.

The musicians featured in this short also have colorful skins and fashion.

Zoot Suit Daffy is easily the best scene not only in this short but in all of Looney Tunes. I never get sick of it. The hands are also really well animated.

The 40s animation is something that needs to come back somehow. I miss animation like this, I would've have the best life ever if I saw these in theatres. 1946 in particular is the best year for Looney Tunes.

The ending is really funny. Absolutely fantastic acting.

This short film also has unique model sheets.

It's cute for some reason.

It's one of my favorite Looney Tunes cartoons. I'm doing a countdown in the next few days. So you will be seeing this being mentioned.

On The Town!

Loved this movie!  Decided to make fanart of the three main characters.  I admire this shot ❤️
