Classic Cartoon Posters And Advertising

Classic Cartoon Posters And Advertising. Ah yes. These were absolutely amazing. These posters were mostly made specifically for movie theaters. If I was around during the 30s to 40s I would stare at these posters all day because of how extremely detailed and simple they look. And you know, as of 2024, I can look up various of these posters on the internet and other websites. Here's one of one of my favorites.

Classic Cartoons had so many importance and fun thrown in. You would create characters, backgrounds, get really solid voice actors, model sheets, and of course what we're mainly talking about on here is posters.

Sometimes they also can be really funny.

This one was made almost a century ago. Circa 1924. It still looks great to this day.

When Classic Animation dropped quality, in intense thought, was their anything good for animation now that every classic animation studio didn't make cartoons anymore? Well yeah I would say it wasn't too great but cartoons on TV still had an audience. And while we're talking advertisements and posters in that regard, how did it evolve?

It still was good even though it was used rarely at times with timeless characters like Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, and Woody Woodpecker.

I would say the mid 80s, animation posters became to improve again and became more appealing.

Nowadays as we are in the 2020s, animation advertising and posters are like this.
It has evolved extremely well. It has more detail, vibrant colors, and cute expressive characters. I may like the classic animation posters a little more but this is still impeccable.

I'm a little biased on the original Dumbo poster because those yellow colors remind me of nostalgia.

It reminds me of a book I used to have when I was little and it was the original Curious George book. I'm not sure if my parents grew up reading these but I always thought it had a wholesome aesthetic and Curious George himself is cute.

🙂

Bonus 💥 Here's a classic movie poster. This looks epic.

In conclusion, Classic Animation posters can be enjoyed with it's setting and what your getting into. You may not like the cartoon/movie but you can appreciate the vibe it's going for. Even with the simpleness of it, it can grab you attention.

Anyways, hope you have a good day. 👍
See what's next tomorrow. 👀

The underwater effect is really great in this cartoon. I also love how Bugs dressed up as a mermaid, literally plays tag and slaps the hec...
