I'm astounding by how I'm improving on drawing with clear construction nowadays.
I've been drawing humans lately and been really happy with my final products. It's really fun and I love to see other people's different styles on how they draw their own versions of landmark species.
Whether it would be Chuck Jones's unique dog designs, caricature designs or etc.
When I drew the Marx Brothers they were so easy to capture. Their unique looks, personalities, just amazing group of comedic talents.
Back then I didn't have an art style, it was just me trying to copy various characters from other media. Markers, paper and looking at books were the only things I ever had when I was little, and let's just say that was for the best.
Back then I drew humans like this.
I remember staying away from realistic humans as possible when I was young, because they felt too mature and unpleasant. Well except for the Chica Show host and DJ Lance.
Back then my parents forced me kindly to make something every holiday so I found an old drawing of my leprechaun, I think I drew this at 7 or 8, looks cute and simple but now that I'm into more detailed and realistic cartoons I drew him like he works out 8 hours a day but eats too much junk food.
No hat, barely has green clothes, still has the timeless irish lucky-man energy.
Just about 2 years ago, I wasn't fully into knowing how to draw real humans and I barely had to check for any outline errors.
Cody Angelel circa 2023
Should I remake this man?
This explains my entire drawing portfolio. Enjoy it.
I began watching more films that don't star a fictional rabbit, a talking dog or whatever. I watched The Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Abbott And Costello and Astaire movies and something hits so differently about those than cartoons.
This is my caricature gallery. Has some of my favorite actors.
Astaire, Crosby, Three Stooges, and Gene Kelly.
Drawing people in 20s-30s fashion is so fun.
People back in the 20th century looked more attractive than nowadays. That's just my opinion maybe it's because most of the pictures I choose are black n white or sepia. It's really neat and everyone looks so healthy and slim.
Even in art forms.
Maybe next I'll talk about how I improved drawing animals throughout my career of drawing.
Maybe if this gets views, I'll be able to show my art all to ya.
