Bob Clampett - Also My Biggest Influence In Animation

I talked about Tex Avery recently as he was my gigantic influence within my drawing career.

Bob Clampett was an animation legend. He made some of the best Looney Tunes cartoons ever like The Great Piggy Bank Robbery and Kitty Kornered and changed Warner Bros. Cartoons for the better with it's comedic timing and energy.

My first experience with Bob Clampett's cartoons was when I was experiencing public domain Looney Tunes shorts on Youtube and the first one I believe I watched was Falling Hare. It was sure fun.

Clampett's Bugs Bunny is by far the best. I kinda have a crush on him. He's way too expressive and has alot of relaxed energy. His voice shines gold. ✨️

I wanted to watch Falling Hare again a few years after I first watched it and it's a masterpiece.

This classic gag needs to come back. I don't know why kids channels get rid of it. It's supposed to be a joke and it's funny.

Clampett's Daffy was also the best. His acting in some of his cartoons were memorable and were part of the high energy charm.

Clampett also made some of the most badass cats ever. I personally don't love cats, but I cannot deny these. They have awesome designs.

Almost every cartoon he made was highly watchable and fun. Like with Tex Avery there's literally no duds. My favorite is obviously Kitty Kornered and my least is probably Porky's Naughty Nephew cuz his nephew is the most annoying characters in the Looney Tunes catalog. Sucks to suck.  😕

This is the cutest design I ever seen of an insect.

One of its top animators is Rod Scribner. He worked on shorts with Tex Avery and Robert McKimson and he is a genius. His animated scenes were the best parts of Clampett's cartoons.

Hopefully I will be able to talk about Bob Clampett in other posts. He's really easy to talk about.
